About The Position

The Nursing Team Leader, in addition to all duties performed by the RN staff nurse, provides direction and leadership to a specific team (service line or work group) within the designated unit in order to improve satisfaction, increase efficiency, decrease expense, and delivery quality service to patients.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current New York State Registered Nurse License

• Experience with budgeting and value analysis processes
• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
• Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting
• Experience working effectively with surgeons
• Professional certification in a related nursing specialty
• CNOR Certification
