About The Position

University Health Services is seeking a dedicated Nursing Supervisor to oversee day-to-day clinical operations and nursing staff for an assigned area. In this leadership role, you’ll coordinate patient flow, facilitate efficient and customer-friendly care, and guide nursing team members to deliver high-quality service for our campus community.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Registered Nurse - Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing
• PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow and facilitate patient care; assign and direct the work of nursing team members
• Provide triage, phone advice, patient education, and medication administration
• Assess and monitor all clinical activities
• Provide training and guidance to nursing staff as needed
• Conduct staff reviews and make recommendations for personnel actions
• Counsel staff for policy deviations and develop corrective action plans
• Bring concerns and ideas for improvement to Clinical Services Leadership
• May provide clinical support to research studies
• Supervise staff members, including hiring, development, and performance management
