About The Position

Brentwood, an affiliate of National Health Care Associates and a Certified Great Place to Work, is seeking a Nursing Supervisor (RN) for a weekend position. This role involves leading an interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care, ensuring the health, comfort, and overall well-being of residents. The supervisor will oversee facility operations, safety, cleanliness, and compliance with nursing policies, procedures, and regulations. This position offers meaningful work, lasting bonds with families and teams, and opportunities for career growth. The role is for 12-hour shifts on weekends (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) with weekly pay and has the potential to become a full-time role. Requirements

  • Valid state nursing license
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
  • Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
  • Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree or certification
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting

Responsibilities

  • Supervising and guiding nursing staff to ensure high-quality care delivery
  • Overseeing daily operations, including staffing assignments and resource allocation
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
  • Conducting regular assessments and audits to maintain quality standards
  • Providing mentorship, training, and support to nursing staff
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and protocols
