About The Position
Agawam North Rehab & Nursing is seeking a full-time Nursing Supervisor (RN/LPN) to join our clinical leadership team in a skilled nursing setting. This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys a balance of hands-on patient care oversight and team leadership , with strong support from an experienced Director of Nursing and administrative team. Position Overview The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily clinical operations on an assigned unit, ensuring high-quality resident care, and supporting the performance and development of nursing staff.
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN or LPN license (required)
- Prior experience in skilled nursing or long-term care (required)
Nice To Haves
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day patient care delivery within the unit
- Supervise, support, and guide nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs)
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing on clinical operations
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations
- Promote a positive, team-oriented care environment
- Assist with care planning, documentation oversight, and clinical quality initiatives
