RN Supervisors needed for Acute Hospitals: St Peters - ED & Observation Samaritan ED FT EVENINGS SAMARITAN EMERGENCY: Would you like to join a dynamic ED team who is focused on caring for patients with a collaborative team of providers, nurses and patient care technicians. ST PETERS OBSERVATION: This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of hospital throughput and healthcare delivery from a systems based global perspective. The positive provides input into how acute care directly intersects with community health, while working closely with Emergency Department leadership. Candidates will expand their knowledge across multiple disease processes and develop a deeper understanding of insurance structures and their impact on patient care. The role is centered on developing future nurses through education, mentorship, and skill advancement. In addition , there are opportunities to lead and participate in hospital-wide initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and employee engagement. This includes the daily monitoring of administrative and clinical systems which support patient care. The Supervisor facilitates collegial relationships between care teams, supplements staff, and collaborates with leadership staff in assuring adequate staffing is achieved throughout the division. The Supervisor supports, plans, implements, and evaluates program goals and supports policies of St. Peter’s Health Partners to assure Patient Focused Care. Functional Role (not inclusive of titles or advancement career progression) NL I –supervising: Frontline, department-based, direct or indirect healthcare department / program; Formally / informally supervises daily & / or house functions of charge nurses, professional & frontline staff (multidisciplinary team) of assigned department; May or may not have direct report relationships; May be accountable for the staff coordination, scheduling & assignment or throughput; May participate in & contributes to the performance management / review process; Contributes to the daily performance, daily adherence to regulatory requirements & drives results of team within assigned department; Implements departmental plans & priorities identified by accountable nurse leaders.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice / employment.
• Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid driver’s license where required by assignment.

Nice To Haves

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Leadership experience & / or other experience / licensure / certifications aligned with area of responsibility & assignment.
