Reporting to the Director Nursing Operations and is responsible for patient flow, patient placement coordination, staffing, and facilitating quality of hospital service. Leading hospital operations in the absence of administrative department heads as resource and support in coordination with the AOC (Administrator on Call) on both the Mission Viejo and Laguna Beach campuses. Serves as a nursing resource and intervenes in difficult situations with patients and/or families or medical crisis. Performs as a clinical resource for patient placements, and on the Laguna Beach campus serves as a clinical resource during medical emergencies and performs under "Stat Nurse" Standardized Procedure for safe and appropriate care. Performing duties and conducting interpersonal relationships in a manner designed to project the core values of Mission.
