About The Position

Rome Health is currently seeking a Night Nursing Supervisor to provide leadership over clinical operations, care delivery, and support throughout all hospital units. The Nursing Supervisor will assist with emergency response, coordinate nursing staff, and ensure that all care provided is within the policies and procedures of Rome Health. Additional duties include but are not limited to the following:

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN or currently enrolled in BSN curriculum is required.
Current Registered Nurse License in New York State
2 to 5 years of work experience in an acute care hospital is desirable.

Responsibilities

Act as an administrative support to Nursing staff, physicians, and other departments.
Allocate staffing resources based on census and acuity
Provide guidance and support to clinical staff members with day-to-day tasks and emergencies.
Provide caring customer service to patients and family members and escalate issues as appropriate.
Conduct routine rounds, ensure documentation, reporting, and incident tracking is completed accurately and timely.
Complete shift reports and communicate effectively during the shift change.
