Requirements
- Possession of a state license in applicable state you are performing work and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse
- Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience and at least one (1) year of experience in a nursing leadership role
- At least one year of experience as a Unit Manager, or Charge Nurse preferably in geriatric nursing required.
- Current BLS/CPR.
- Ability to supervise and discipline staff and ensure that high standards of care are maintained as necessary.
- Ability to utilize creative problem-solving and handle problems diplomatically necessary.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Caring, compassionate and empathetic attitude.
- Able to relate well with residents, families and co-workers.
- Exceptional customer service.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Team-focused demeanor.
- Strong supervisory skills for managing and coordinating care of residents.
- This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for responding immediately to residents’ requests.
- Supervise nursing care services and staff on all units while on duty.
- Actively promotes facility safety programs.
- May assume responsibility as the Infection Preventionist Nurse.
- Assume responsibility for nursing services in the absence of the Assistant Director of Nursing Services and/or Director of Nursing Services.
- The Night Shift Supervisor (RN) will assist with ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by being responsible for nursing care rendered at facility during evening shifts; supervision of nursing personnel of each unit; and other corollary duties assigned by the Director Nursing Services.
- The RN Supervisor is schedule minimally 37.5 hours a week which is one shift during the week and every other weekend. Every other holiday.
