Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required or Master's Degree in Nursing preferred or Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration preferred.
  • Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - ACLS Required.
  • BLS Required.
  • PALS Required.
  • Nursing experience 3-5 years required.
  • Experience in a leadership or supervisory role 3-5 years required.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises nursing leaders and staff, ensuring proper staffing levels and assigning duties to meet patient care needs.
  • Monitors and evaluates nursing practices, ensuring compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Provides leadership during clinical emergencies, making critical decisions to ensure patient safety and quality care.
  • Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.
  • Conducts performance evaluations, provides feedback, and facilitates professional development opportunities for nursing staff.
  • Leads quality improvement initiatives within the nursing department to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Ensures accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Addresses and resolves any patient or staff concerns, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Participates in hospital leadership meetings, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.
