RN Supervisor-Behavioral Health Unit 7pm-7am Forst View ocated just seven miles southeast of downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, Forest View Hospital is a private psychiatric facility that serves children, adolescents and adults. We are fully accredited by The Joint Commission and we bring more than 45 years of experience to the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health problems. Maintains the environment of care. Provides care to patients in a competent, capable, caring and efficient manner. The care provided is appropriate to the age of the patients served. Requirements

  • 1 year charge nurse experience
  • Professional experience that demonstrates ability to understand the clinical practice environment. 2 years clinical nursing experience preferred
  • Current RN license in District of Columbia required
  • Successful completion of unit specific certifications (PALS, ACLS, TNCC, NRP, chemotherapy certification, etc.)
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to adapt to multiple changing priorities
  • Ability to provide care that is respectful of and responsive to the patient values in clinical decision making

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in specialty preferred
