About The Position

Preferred Professional Services (PPS) is a proud affiliate of National Health Care Associates, a growing network of more than 35 short-term rehabilitation and long-term care centers that touch the lives of thousands of families throughout the Northeast. We have per diem shifts available now in our Long-Term Care and Rehab Facilities! As a Nursing Supervisor, you will lead an interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care and ensure the health, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents. Your responsibilities will include oversight of the facility operations, safety, cleanliness and compliance to nursing policies, procedures and regulations.

Requirements

• Valid state nursing license
• Advanced degree or certification preferred
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
• Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
• Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Supervising and guiding nursing staff to ensure high-quality care delivery
• Overseeing daily operations, including staffing assignments and resource allocation
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Conducting regular assessments and audits to maintain quality standards
• Providing mentorship, training, and support to nursing staff
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and protocols
