About The Position

As a Nurse Supervisor at Lankenau Medical Center, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the administrative responsibilities of the hospital in the absence of the Administrator. Your leadership will be integral to the Patient Experience, managing nursing services, ensuring high-quality care for patients, and assigning staff to appropriate clinical areas based on their skill mix. You will also have opportunities for professional development through education and feedback from your manager.

Requirements

• Five (5) years of recent Acute Care Nurse experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• BSN Required.
• PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
• Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior Management, Supervisor, Charge, Coordinator or other related leadership experience is preferred.
• MSN or other related graduate degree preferred.
• Certification in specialty area is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the administrative responsibilities of the hospital in the absence of the Administrator.
• Manage the nursing service to ensure the highest quality care is provided to patients.
• Assign staff to appropriate clinical areas based on their skill mix.
• Engage in hospital and system-wide Nursing Committees and evidence-based research projects.
• Mentor new staff.
