The Administrative Supervisor is responsible for the clinical supervision of patient care and represents hospital management on the assigned shift to ensure the delivery of quality patient care. This role involves exposure to communicable diseases, blood and blood products, illness, confused and/or combative patients, hazardous chemicals, stressful situations, x-rays and fluoroscopy, sharp instruments and needles, and electricity. Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting patients, pushing wheelchairs, recliner chairs, beds, stretchers, and occasionally stooping, reaching above head, and carrying medium to light equipment.
