About The Position

The Administrative Supervisor is responsible for the clinical supervision of patient care and represents hospital management on the assigned shift to ensure the delivery of quality patient care. This role involves exposure to communicable diseases, blood and blood products, illness, confused and/or combative patients, hazardous chemicals, stressful situations, x-rays and fluoroscopy, sharp instruments and needles, and electricity. Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting patients, pushing wheelchairs, recliner chairs, beds, and stretchers. Occasionally, the supervisor must stoop, reach above head, and carry medium to light equipment.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• At least five years clinical experience
• At least one year supervisory experience
• Current license to practice professional nursing in NJ
• CPR certification as per Hospital policy
• IV certification as per Hospital policy
• ACLS required (or within 6 months of employment)
• Certification in Nursing Administration preferred
