About The Position

Fairview is looking for a Nursing Station Technician at the M Health Fairview Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming, MN! This position is 48 hours every two weeks on the Day shift, for 12 hour shifts, and every third weekend, and is eligible for benefits such as medical, dental, and more. Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS for Healthcare Providers) certification required
• Successful completion of Fairview's OnTrack Nursing Assistant training program or another Fairview sponsored Nursing Assistant program
• Six months of recent direct care experience in a long term, home care or acute care setting
• Current enrollment in an LPN, RN or Nurse Practitioner program, and completion of one (1) semester of clinical rotation within the program
• Current certification on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry upon hire

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care
• Perform receptionist duties on the station
• Maintain patient care areas
• Assist in the transfer/positioning and mobility of patients
• Assist with ADLs and general patient care
• Facilitate room turnover audit and maintain unit supplies
• Coordinate activities of nursing station to support patient care staff
• Manage medical record flow and patient care charts
• Provide outstanding customer service
• Perform other tasks as needed
