About The Position

Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital (LBHH) is a 126-bed, inpatient psychiatric hospital and start-up joint venture between Lancaster General Health/Penn Medicine and Universal Health Services. In addition to a general adult unit and dedicated adolescent unit, the facility offers services for treating those with co-occurring disorders on the psychiatric-medical unit, an intensive adult unit to care for those with severe conditions, as well as a women's trauma unit.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• One year of nursing scheduling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule nursing unit staff. Determine and ensure appropriate unit staffing ratio.
• Adhere to nursing FTE standards and manage according to Hospital policy.
• Accurately communicates nurse managers/house supervisor regarding staff and acuity levels.
• Monitor and deliver information for infection control to employee health coordinator.
• Carries out clerical and administrative assignments to support department operation.
