Requirements
- Active RN or LPN license in the state of Ohio with authorization to pass medications
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts
- Current Instructor-Led CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, procedures, and long-term care regulations
- Positive attitude and passion for working with the elderly
- Flexible schedule, including every 3rd weekend and holidays (as needed)
Nice To Haves
- Previous long-term care/geriatrics experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop, implement, and manage resident-driven care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the Medical Director or resident physician
- Provide direct leadership, supervision, and support to RAs and STNAs
- Document clinical information in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and team members
- Protect the health and safety of residents
