Requirements

  • Active RN or LPN license in the state of Ohio with authorization to pass medications
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts
  • Current Instructor-Led CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
  • Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, procedures, and long-term care regulations
  • Positive attitude and passion for working with the elderly
  • Flexible schedule, including every 3rd weekend and holidays (as needed)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous long-term care/geriatrics experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop, implement, and manage resident-driven care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the Medical Director or resident physician
  • Provide direct leadership, supervision, and support to RAs and STNAs
  • Document clinical information in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and team members
  • Protect the health and safety of residents
