Joyce University is seeking a Part-Time Nursing Simulation Lab Assistant to support our Simulation & Learning Labs at our Draper campus. In this hands-on role, you’ll help bring nursing education to life by preparing and supporting realistic clinical simulations that build confidence, competence, and compassion in future nurses. This is an ideal opportunity for healthcare professionals who enjoy teaching, teamwork, and working in a dynamic learning environment.

Requirements

  • A background in healthcare (CNA, Medical Assisting, EMT, or similar)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfort working with both people and technology
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Flexibility to support evening and weekend lab sessions, as needed

Nice To Haves

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor Certification

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and set up simulation and skills labs, including equipment, manikins, supplies, and scenario programming
  • Support live simulation experiences by operating equipment, providing technical assistance, and role-playing patients or family members
  • Assist instructors and students with simulation tools and medical equipment
  • Maintain, clean, and restock labs and supply rooms after use
  • Monitor inventory and ensure labs are fully stocked and ready for instruction
  • Collaborate with the simulation team to ensure smooth, efficient lab operations
