About The Position
The Nursing Program Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination of the nursing program which they are assigned to including the education and supervision of students in the online classroom and clinical practice settings. Under the direction of the Assistant Dean, the Coordinator will actively participate in outstanding customer service and accept responsibility for maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Manages the Nursing program which they are assigned to including the selection process of adjuncts, overseeing accreditation and other review activities. Representation of the program at the departmental and institutional level, providing mentorship and leadership to students and faculty. Develops, designs, and delivers course instruction, participates in student advising and mentoring, and engages in the academic roles of teaching, service, scholarship, and research. Reviews and assists with revisions for the program policies and procedures, identifies and recommends appropriate community agency learning sites for clinical learning experiences. The Coordinator will work with faculty and university support services to advance and sustain the quality of online education.
