Walla Walla Community College (WWCC) is seeking applicants for a Nursing Program Administrator position at the Clarkston campus. This position is responsible for managing the Nursing Education Program at the Clarkston Campus and serves as a liaison between Walla Walla Community College - Clarkston Campus and community stakeholders in the Lewiston-Clarkston valley, as well as the Walla Walla Community College -Walla Walla Campus. The position reports to the Dean and Assistant Dean of Nursing and Allied Health. The role requires strong leadership skills, management of nursing faculty, student advocacy, and community engagement.

  • Manage the Nursing Education Program at the Clarkston Campus.
  • Serve as a liaison between WWCC Clarkston Campus and community stakeholders.
  • Oversee lead faculty duties for both first- and second-year nursing levels.
  • Ensure that all student clinical placements and orientations are planned and completed.
  • Oversee the compilation and maintenance of student and program records according to college and regulatory guidelines.
  • Direct the implementation of nursing ATI testing and ExamSoft for the Clarkston campus.
  • Provide supervision and support to full- and part-time nursing faculty.
  • Recruit part-time clinical adjunct faculty and ensure their orientation, mentoring, and evaluation.
  • Participate in the hiring processes for full-time, tenure track, nursing faculty.
  • Provide academic advising/counseling to students in the Nursing Program.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of student recruitment, enrollment, and retention for the nursing program.
  • Represent the Nursing Program in college and community activities.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
  • Three full-time equivalent years in clinical experience in nursing.
  • Registered or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Washington.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience.
  • Experience in nursing education.
  • Familiarity with accreditation processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Annual Nursing Educator stipend of 26%.
  • One-time signing bonus of $15,000.
