About The Position

This role will support ambulatory service lines. Serves as primary resource for planning, coordinating and facilitating nursing professional development (NPD) and clinical education throughout Parkview Health. Uses tools, theories, skills and knowledge of NPD to improve the practice of coworkers. The NPD Practitioner is accountable for NPD practitioner competencies.

Requirements

• Must have a BSN from accredited program.
• Valid Registered Nurse License required for the State where services will be provided.
• Minimum of three years experience in direct patient care in an ambulatory setting.
• Nursing Professional Development or equivalent certification within 3 years.
• Demonstrates ability to establish and maintain effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Minimum proficiency with technology ie. Microsoft Office suite.

Nice To Haves

• MSN or Master's degree preferred.
• Certification in other clinical specialty area encouraged.
• Advanced neonatal and obstetrical experience for NICU and Obstetrics educators.
