About The Position

The Nursing Performance Improvement Coordinator is expected to lead Unity Health’s PI initiative specific to the delivery of nursing care. The associate will work with nursing leadership to monitor the quality of nursing care being provided, identify opportunities for improvement, and lead performance improvement activities to achieve excellence in all departments where nursing care is provided. The associate is responsible for preparing statistical reports, meeting minutes, orientation and in-service related materials as well as leading and facilitating PI activities. As relevant to the needs of the Nursing Department, the associate may be involved in regulatory compliance activities as well as policy, procedure, protocol and education development.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an associate degree in nursing.
  • Current Valid Arkansas RN Licensure Required.
  • Three years nursing experience in an inpatient setting.
  • Previous experience with medical record review, statistical, analytic, and decision support is desirable.
  • Fluency with software/applications including all Microsoft Office applications.
