About The Position

Enjoy a rewarding career leading Med Surg, OB and the Emergency Department nursing teams as the Nurse Manager of the Sauk Centre Hospital! The Nurse Manager provides clinical and administrative leadership to the nursing and nursing support staff of the hospital. Responsibilities include ensuring patient expectations are exceeded, overseeing and integrating the care delivery system along with merging the art and science of nursing to address patient care needs. Sauk Centre Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital and a level IV trauma center, located together with a family medicine clinic. The primary service area is comprised of six communities in rural west central Minnesota, totaling nearly 17,000 residents. Sauk Centre Hospital offers inpatient/outpatient surgery, labor & delivery, recovery and postpartum birthing suites, and an infusion center are some of the key highlights. Requirements

Graduate from a nursing program
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Minnesota
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Comprehensive Advanced Life Support (CALS)
Minimum of 1 year experience working in a critical access hospital

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in nursing preferred
Prior leadership experience preferred
