This position reports to the Director and has initial oversight and staff scheduling for the department. Provides leadership for the department and assists with direction in achieving service growth and achievement. Assists in the development and evaluation of all nursing personnel and maintains operational aspects of the patient care unit in collaboration with support services. Assists director to assure that HC AHPS, patient, employee, and physicians satisfaction scores are all in acceptable ranges and improving. Assures department is always Survey ready, including nursing documentation, facility, and all National Patient Safety Goals.
