Requirements

High School (or GED equivalent) diploma.
Current Texas RN License
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with I.S., healthcare financials, billing/coding, Joint Commission standards, and CMS regulations.
5 years of acute care nursing experience, 2 years in quality improvement.
1 year of management experience.
Bachelor’s degree.
CPHQ certification.
Proficient use of computer software, including databases, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and Word.

Responsibilities

The Quality Improvement Manager is responsible for working with senior leadership to determine the hospital’s quality initiatives, priorities, and implementation plans.
This role also works to aggregate data and understand new regulatory initiatives in relation to quality in the organization.
The manager is a key figure in educating, advising, and coordinating quality principles in relation to the Baptist Saint Anthony’s Mission and Vision.
