Requirements

3+ years’ of nursing experience in CV Surgical Services.
Bachelor’s in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
Current RN license or current license deemed acceptable by the applicable State Board of Nursing.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

A registered professional nurse who plans, directs and evaluates the process and related activities to insure that all facets of the plan of care are implemented via appropriate delegations.
Based on his/her assessment, the CVOR RN Manager plans a standard of care and safe practices and provides collaboration with the Service Line Administrator to establish effective leadership within the perioperative setting.
Collaborates with the Service Line Administrator to monitor the operating budget using appropriate monitoring tools.
Provides input for the budgeting process to include the operating and capital budgets.
