Get to Know Your Team: BSA Hospital is a 445-bed hospital serving the Amarillo area for over 120 years and continues to be Amarillo’s preferred healthcare provider. At BSA, the focus is to provide quality healthcare in Christian love, service and dignity. The Nurse Manager is responsible for assisting the Director with the overall leadership responsibilities of the department in accordance with established nursing standards, philosophy and BSA mission/vision. The Nurse Manager serves as a vital link between management and the clinical staff as well as strives to achieve efficient, safe, and cost-effective patient care.

Requirements

  • High School (or GED equivalent) diploma.
  • Graduate of accredited School of Nursing.
  • BSN or actively enrolled/pursuing BSN must complete within 24 months.
  • Current License as RN in State of Texas.
  • ACLS certified by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care

Nice To Haves

  • Previous acute care experience.
