The nurse manager is responsible for overall responsibility for the clinical nursing practice and resident/patient care on the unit. Provides for continuity in decision making and consistent in nursing practice by assuring that nursing policies, procedures, standards and objectives are met. Coordinates the functioning of the interdisciplinary team (nursing, social services, activities, psychology) to meet the goals of according to established policy, protocols and procedures. Requirements

  • RN and 3 years’ experience, BSN preferred or LPN and 5 yrs experience
  • CPR certified
  • Must be flexible with scheduling
  • Be willing to be a change agent
  • Demonstrates sensitivity to residents emotional, social, mental health and spiritual needs

Nice To Haves

  • Previous management experience preferred
  • Computer experience preferred
