Nursing Manager - Emergency Department

The Clinical Manager has overall responsibility for operational and clinical management of the Emergency Department and Off Campus Emergency Department including, but not limited to, staffing/scheduling, department specific education, orientation and on boarding, performance evaluations and policy development. Responsibilities
- Complying with Tenet policies
- Implementing and revising department throughput/patient flow, core measures and promoting collaboration with ancillary departments
- Maintaining/facilitating communication between the inpatient departments, physicians and ancillary departments on a regular basis regarding care and quality issues
- Analyzing reports: LOS, avoidable days, disputes and associated Emergency Department metrics
- Implementing and ensuring compliance with all policies and regulations relating to the functioning of the Emergency Department and Off Campus Emergency Department
- All other duties assigned.
