About The Position

At Hi-Desert Medical Center (HDMC) we've been caring for our community for over 40 years. Our Continuing Care Center (CCC), located on the campus of HDMC, provides specialized care to residents close to their own communities, with spectacular panoramic views of desert landscapes for both residents and their guests. The Continuing Care Center has 120 beds and offers three distinct levels of service in semi-private rooms: Subacute care, Skilled nursing care, and Long-Term Care. The Manager has a 24-hour, 7 days a week responsibility to provide leadership for the Continuing Care Center. This includes planning, organizing, staff development, performance management, quality fiscal and information management, regulatory compliance, building and enhancing relationships through customer relations, and appropriate professional involvement.

Requirements

• Experience in healthcare management.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage performance and develop staff.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in healthcare.
• Experience in fiscal management.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the Continuing Care Center.
• Plan and organize operations within the center.
• Develop staff and manage performance.
• Ensure quality fiscal and information management.
• Maintain regulatory compliance.
• Build and enhance relationships through customer relations.
• Manage the cost center(s) within the established budget.
• Collaborate with medical directors and other disciplines to develop services and ensure quality.
