About The Position
Provides quality nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Works within the guidelines of established practice for the Patient Care Assistant at HMC. Supports the mission, philosophy and objectives of Hunterdon Medical Center.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be currently enrolled in nursing school and have completed the first clinical semester course (Nursing Fundamentals).
- None
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Crisis Prevention (CPI) training is required, and must be renewed annually. If not certified upon hire, must obtain certification within 6 months. CPI Course will be provided at Hunterdon.
- Normal basic patient care equipment, wheelchairs and stretchers.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
