About The Position
The UPMC Jameson School of Nursing is currently looking to hire a Full Time Nursing Instructor or Assistant Clinical Instructor. UPMC Jameson's School of Nursing have consecutive semesters through Fall, Spring, and Summer. Final candidates will be selected for a job title within the career ladder that reflects level of education, experience and manager discretion at time of offer. The position requires a nursing professional who has the authority, responsibility and accountability for both the didactic and clinical instruction of students in utilizing the nursing process to provide quality patient care. This position requires the ability to effectively instruct nursing students in the classroom as well as lead the faculty within the course to provide meaningful learning experiences, guide and evaluate the students in the clinical environment while utilizing the nursing process during the provision of care to ensure safe nursing care and quality patient outcomes.
