About The Position
The Nursing Informatics Specialist demonstrates passion and enthusiasm for informatics, supporting the Health Informatics vision and strategic goals of Parkview Health. Assists in the operation and administration of clinical information systems as liaison on behalf of clinical and technical co-workers to enhance workflow methodology and tools. Maintains an end-user centric focus when contributing to the system; to include analysis, testing, documentation, education, implementation, evaluation and optimization activities to enhance technology adoption and efficiencies that improve workflow, patient safety, and patient experience. Provides ongoing support and is proactive in identifying opportunities for clinical information system improvement and knowledge sustainment. Utilizes project planning to guide complex projects through to successful completion. Understands workflows impacting Clinicians and builds requirements for the EHR and associated 3rd party applications.
