About The Position

Provide leadership and oversight of hospital operations during assigned shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays Ensure safe, high-quality patient care by monitoring clinical practices and regulatory compliance Respond to patient care issues, incidents, and emergencies, supporting clinical decision-making as needed Coordinate staffing across departments based on patient acuity and census, including assignments and coverage adjustments Supervise nursing and support staff, providing guidance, coaching, and real-time support Serve as the administrative leader in the absence of department leadership Ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and standards Document and communicate key shift updates, incidents, and operational changes Collaborate with physicians and department teams to resolve issues and support coordinated care Participate in quality improvement and regulatory readiness initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
  • 5–7 years of nursing experience, with leadership experience preferred
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • BLS required

Nice To Haves

  • ACLS/PALS preferred
