Position Highlights: Recognized leader: Hospital in community for over 100 years Quality of Life: Where career opportunities and quality of life converge Advancement: Strong orientation program, generous tuition allowance and career development Work/Life: Positions and shifts to accommodate all schedules Functional Role (not inclusive of titles or advancement career progression) NL I -supervising: Frontline, department-based, direct or indirect healthcare department / program; Formally / informally supervises daily & / or house functions of charge nurses, professional & frontline staff (multidisciplinary team) of assigned department; May or may not have direct report relationships; May be accountable for the staff coordination, scheduling & assignment or throughput; May participate in & contributes to the performance management / review process; Contributes to the daily performance, daily adherence to regulatory requirements & drives results of team within assigned department; Implements departmental plans & priorities identified by accountable nurse leaders. The Nurse Leader (NL) is a licensed registered nurse (RN) accountable for leading, managing & advancing people, processes & / or programs that support direct or indirect patient care. The NL promotes & advocates for patients, nurses / colleagues & the practice of nursing as defined by clinical area(s) of expertise & assignment. Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice / employment.
- Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid driver's license where required by assignment.
Nice To Haves
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Leadership experience & / or other experience / licensure / certifications aligned with area of responsibility & assignment.
