About The Position

The Nursing Home Administrator at Gundersen Health System is responsible for the management and efficient operation of multiple nursing homes, including Harmony Nursing Home and Spring Grove Nursing Home. This role focuses on organizational strategy, fiscal management, human resource management, service excellence, clinical quality, and overall leadership within the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) in Minnesota.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience leading an organization with a focus on balancing mission and margin.
  • Proven experience in improving quality of care and financial performance in long-term care organizations.
  • Ability to work effectively with a Board of Directors.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management and operations of Gundersen Tweeten Care Center and Gundersen Harmony Care Center.
  • Implement organizational strategies and ensure effective execution.
  • Manage fiscal responsibilities and ensure financial performance of the facilities.
  • Lead human resource management initiatives to foster a supportive work environment.
  • Ensure excellence in service delivery and clinical quality across the facilities.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Board of Directors to form strategic partnerships.
