The Nursing Health Information Assistant (HIA) is charged with maintaining the facilities active clinical records in an organized file system and coordinate all aspects of admissions, transfers, and discharges. Complete secretarial duties relating to the department daily. The HIA is also responsible for surveillance of all clinical records in the assigned Neighborhoods and their compliance with regulations. To be successful in this role you’ll need to have knowledge of/experience in the following: Proficiency in technology and systems management - Office Suite (Microsoft), POC, databases Strong Interpersonal Skills - interpersonal, phone, and front desk communication skills Effective and Efficient- skilled in both verbal and written communication across diverse audiences. Highly organized and detail-oriented – maintaining accuracy and focus in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
