This position provides opportunity to teach theory, lab, and clinical and to be actively engaged in ongoing nursing program development. We are currently seeking an innovative, collaborative, teacher-scholar to join the University as a full-time faculty. This position reports to the Undergraduate Chair-Nursing. In addition to teaching, emphasis is on program planning, curriculum development and evaluation, clinical agency liaison/relationship building, advising, and marketing. Workload is 15 credit hours per semester for faculty teaching lab/clinical only or a combination of theory/lab/clinical. Workload is based on student contact hours with one credit of lab or clinical equating to three hours of class. Faculty must comply with Board of Nursing requirements pertaining to course hours and individual qualifications, and experience as well as policies in the Faculty Handbook. This is a nine-month position based at the Saint Leo University campus in Saint Leo, Florida. Appointment may be made at the instructor, assistant, or associate professor level, tenure track.
