Nursing Faculty - Full-Time
About The Position
This Nursing Faculty role focuses on clinical and lab instruction for Med-Surg nursing education within a practical nursing program. Responsibilities include teaching students in off-site clinical settings, delivering hands-on skills instruction, creating positive and engaging learning environments, and ensuring full alignment with nursing curriculum standards. The position requires planning and coordinating student clinical experiences, supervising and orienting learners to clinical policies and procedures, evaluating student performance, and providing timely feedback to support academic success. Faculty also collaborate with academic teams, participate in curriculum committees, and contribute to continuous improvement of nursing education programs. Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required
- Three or more years of full time RN experience (or part-time equivalent)
- Active, unencumbered Ohio RN license
- Ability to provide official transcripts for all degrees earned
- Current or obtainable American Heart Association BLS certification
- Ability to work onsite and at off-site clinical locations
- Meets all credentialing requirements for clinical placements (transcripts, BLS/ACLS, physical, immunizations)
