About The Position

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Practical Nursing Diploma (LPN) and Associate Degree in Nursing Program (RN). This is a full-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Nursing. The primary responsibility will be to teach Nursing courses. The typical teaching load is two classes each term. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation. Requirements

• BSN Required
• At least four years of experience in the field of Nursing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized, motivated and results driven
• No prior teaching experience required.

Responsibilities

• Teach Nursing courses in the Practical Nursing Diploma and Associate Degree in Nursing Program.
• Provide academic advising to students.
• Assist the program director with various tasks.
• Participate in department training and meetings.
• Attend graduation ceremonies.
