About The Position

The Nursing Education Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for obstetric nursing staff and/or expectant parents. This role ensures evidence-based practices are integrated into clinical care and patient education, supporting high-quality maternal and newborn outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Current RN license.
• BLS and NRP required; ACLS and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in Labor & Delivery or Maternal-Child Health.
• Prior teaching or educator experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of obstetric and neonatal care standards.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to use adult learning principles and technology-based teaching tools.
