Work Schedule: This unique opportunity is a 100% FTE position scheduled to typically work Monday through Friday, day shift hours, however some off hours or weekends may be required. We are seeking an MSN or DNP prepared Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Nursing Professional Development team! Support onboarding and ongoing professional development for UW Health’s expanding radiology nursing teams across inpatient and outpatient settings, collaborating with a highly engaged and growing specialty team. Partner with the Radiology team and nurses providing subspecialty care across interventional radiology (body and neuro), MRI, ultrasound, musculoskeletal imaging, and procedural prep and recovery environments. Contribute to a dynamic, academic practice environment actively engaged in cutting-edge, evidence-based therapies and research aimed at improving patient outcomes. Facilitate and lead initial onboarding, competency development, and continuing education for nursing staff within assigned areas of support. Collaborate across departments to assess, plan, develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive educational programs that support nursing excellence at UW Health. Serve as a clinical education resource, participating in system-wide initiatives and new nurse orientation, while supporting quality improvement efforts and practice change. Bring your clinical expertise, a minimum of three years of radiology nursing experience is preferred, and experience in nursing education to advance professional practice across procedural, inpatient, and ambulatory care settings.
