About The Position

The Nursing Education Coordinator is responsible for planning, providing, and evaluating nursing education programs in collaboration with the Nursing Education Specialist. This individual will be expected to exercise initiative, exhibit organizational skills, and use problem-solving and decision-making skills to perform tasks. The role requires managing many activities and challenges simultaneously with minimal direction. The Nursing Education Coordinator acts as a facilitator and resource person, ensuring appropriate documentation to meet the needs of governing and accrediting agencies. Additionally, this position promotes a positive image and maintains positive relationships with internal and external customers. A subset of the employees may be required to routinely drive as part of their job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, provide, and evaluate nursing education programs in collaboration with the Nursing Education Specialist.
• Exercise initiative and organizational skills to manage multiple activities and challenges simultaneously.
• Act as a facilitator and resource person for nursing education programs.
• Ensure appropriate documentation to meet the needs of governing/accrediting agencies.
• Promote a positive image and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
• Facilitate questions, phone calls, meeting scheduling, and other assignments.
