SUMMARY Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice. Has highly effective interpersonal and communication skills, proven leadership ability and hospital operational ability, and ability to serve as role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.

Requirements

  • Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice.
  • Has highly effective interpersonal and communication skills, proven leadership ability and hospital operational ability, and ability to serve as role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.
  • Associate degree from an accredited nursing school with a bachelor's degree in a health care related field or a BSN.
  • 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or director.
  • 5 years of experience working in the Emergency Room.
  • Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy; CPR.

Nice To Haves

  • MSN or master's in a health care related field.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Emergency Department to ensure efficient, high-quality care
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a dynamic team of emergency professionals, ensuring a culture of excellence
  • Manage the expansion and upgrade of facilities and equipment in line with evolving needs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare departments to maintain seamless patient care and effective emergency protocols
  • Implement policies and procedures to enhance patient safety and care delivery
