About The Position

As the Nursing Director for Cardiac/Telemetry Services, you'll lead a dynamic team focused on delivering exceptional, compassionate care. You'll oversee day-to-day operations and long-term strategic planning for one to two departments, ensuring quality outcomes and staff engagement while maintaining a culture of collaboration and accountability. Your leadership will influence: Clinical excellence: Drive evidence-based practices and performance improvement initiatives. Team development: Recruit, mentor, and empower top nursing talent. Operational success: Manage budgets, staffing, and resources to deliver efficient, high-quality care. Collaboration: Partner closely with physicians, department leaders, and executive leadership to achieve organizational goals. This position reports directly to hospital administration and plays a key role in advancing our cardiac and telemetry service lines.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Minimum 5 years of experience in cardiac, telemetry, or a related specialty
Current Texas RN License (will consider candidates with compact license)
Active BLS certification (AHA required within 60 days of hire)

Nice To Haves

Master's Degree in Nursing, Business, or a related field
3-5 years of progressive nursing leadership or management experience
Specialty or Nurse Executive certification
