About The Position

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• BLS Certification
• Completion of healthcare vocational program preferred
• Successful completion of fundamentals semester of nursing school preferred
• De-escalation training (obtained CPI within six months of employment) in required specialty
• Prefer experience in acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent patient-centered care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Works under the direction of registered nurses or physicians to deliver care.
• Participates as an active member of the Nursing Team on the assigned unit/department.
• Supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence Standards to all customer groups.
