About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position is a full-time night role located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA. The hospital has a rich history dating back to 1965 and has evolved to meet the needs of the growing community. It is a 238-bed community hospital network that includes a 160-bed acute care hospital and a 78-bed rehabilitation campus. The CNA will work under the direction of a licensed nurse, providing nursing care within their scope of practice while adhering to unit-specific standards of care and the policies and procedures of Corona Regional Medical Center.

Requirements

  • Current BLS (CPR) certification required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Ability to exercise phone etiquette and computer skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • 2 years of recent CNA experience required.
  • Must have current, valid Certified Nurses Assistant certification, or be currently enrolled in an accredited Registered Nursing program with completion of the 1st clinical curriculum semester.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a Monitor Tech preferred.
  • Completion of dysrythmia for monitor techs course within 90 days.
  • Completion of unit secretary course or equivalent healthcare experience preferred.
