About The Position

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Nursing Assistant for the Kahn 3 Stepdown Unit at Morristown Medical Center. This position involves varied shifts, including every third weekend.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Acute Care Experience preferred
• Epic Experience preferred
• Medical terminology preferred
• Basic computer skills preferred
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have positive customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Supporting nursing personnel in providing direct patient care
• Assisting patients with daily activities such as changing and bathing
• Measuring and recording vital signs
• Administering basic treatments
• Helping to ensure a safe care environment
• Continuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs are met
• Assist the team with answering patient call bells
• Assist visitors and patient's needs
• Manage EPIC
• Assist with rounds for patient experience
• Ensuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a positive attitude
