About The Position

Baptist Medical Center is looking for compassionate Nursing Assistants to join our team. These positions are located on various units at Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL (Downtown) and the surrounding area. We are looking for Nursing Assistant candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and focus on providing quality patient care. Nursing Assistants (NAs) support RNs in the care of patients and work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Requirements

• Fundamentals of Nursing from an accredited school of nursing and current enrollment in nursing school.
• Foreign nurse, Foreign Physician, and nursing assistants hired prior to April 23, 2015 without a Florida CNA license have been grandfathered into the Nursing Assistant role.
• High School Diploma/GED
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

Nice To Haves

• 1 year Clinical Patient Care Experience Preferred
• Monitor Technician Experience Preferred
• Health Unit Coordinator Experience Preferred
• Electronic Health Record Experience Preferred
• Experience working in a hospital setting Preferred

Responsibilities

• Patient activities of daily living

• Collecting lab specimens
• Intake and output monitoring
