About The Position

Monterey Park Hospital, a 101-acute care facility located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, is seeking a Nursing Assistant for our Telemetry Unit. This is a part-time, 12-hour night shift position reporting to the Director of Telemetry. Responsibilities The Telemetry Nursing Assistant (NA) receives assignments from and reports to the CN and takes direction from the RN &/or LVN. The NA position is directly responsible for the delivery of high-quality individualized basic nursing care. The NA utilizes knowledge of the patient’s age, developmental status, spiritual and cultural diversity in the provision of patient care. The NA position contributes to the provision of safety and quality nursing care that results in positive patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Current BLS (AHA) required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Nursing Assistant Certification preferred.
